In addition to our regular group fitness classes, which are complimentary for Full Center Members, we also occasionally offer fee-based classes. We offer new classes on a regular basis so check back from time to time, to see what's new.
The JCC offers more than 90 group fitness classes each week. These classes are free for Full Center Members. Social Members and non-members pay a day pass fee of $15 for Social Members and $25 for non-members.

Aqua Bootcamp Take bootcamp into the water with high intensity drills for a total body aquatic workout.
Aqua Fit Get out of the cardio studio and into the pool for this non-impact, total body workout. Improve cardiovascular stamina, muscular endurance, flexibility, and range of motion.
Aqua Tabata Use water resistance with several basic aqua moves done for a short period of time at a high intensity and a short rest in between.

CARDIO & FUSION FITNESS
20/20/20 This energizing combo class includes 20 minutes of sculpt, 20 minutes of cardio dance, and 20 minutes of stretching and core work, to get you a balanced full-body workout!
Cardio Barre Improve your balance, strengthen your core, and create a long, lean physique. This high energy, low impact class combines ballet, kickboxing, Pilates, and yoga and is non-stop fast-paced movement. Class is taught in bare feet using traditional ballet barres.
Cardio Core Sweat and burn calories in this cardio class with the addition of a complete core workout.
Cardio Kick A cardiovascular workout using basic kickboxing techniques to develop endurance, conditioning, and stamina.
Cardio Sculpt Combine Body Sculpt with cardio intervals for a total body workout.
JCC Sprints A vigorous full-body workout that incorporates strength and stability. All levels welcome.
Light and Easy Light on the joints and easy to follow, this low-impact aerobics class uses simple choreographed movement patterns that emphasize full range of motion.
Spinning ® Indoor cycling program using high-performance, fully adjustable, stationary bicycles. The techniques and positions presented are carefully selected to ensure a safe, fun, and effective workout for students of all fitness levels.
Worldanz High-intensity kinesthetic fitness program that exposes participants to a compelling range of dance forms and musical styles.
ZUMBA® Ditch the workout and stay for the party! Every Zumba® class is a fun event. The mix of Latin, top 40 and hip hop music keeps you energized.
ZUMBA® Basics Zumba with less impact on the joints, and simplified movements, but with all the fun of a regular Zumba class! Great for anyone looking to try Zumba for the first time, or at a slower pace.
Barbell X Experience Barbell Strength and discover your stronger self. Build muscle strength and endurance for every major muscle group. Join us for this power packed and fun strength workout!
Barre Functional Fitness with a spin. Taking the principles of a traditional barre class, Pilates, and the athleticism and artistry of dance.
Body Sculpt Mix it up with dumbbells, balls, body bars and bands for a great total body workout! Work at your own level while you define, condition, and strengthen all major muscle groups.
Bodyshred™ A high-intensity and endurance-based 30 minute workout using Jillian Michaels’ 3-2-1 interval approach. A 15-minute preview of the exercises for each workout starts off each class.
Classical Pilates Mat This is the core of the Pilates method of body conditioning, and the work is most challenging-- strengthening the core muscles, and limbering the spine.
Core Express An express core-focused workout that tones everything between your shoulders and hips.
On the Ball Cardio, strength, and core exercises all using the Stability Ball. Keep it simple with one piece of equipment that will be sure to challenge you.
Pilates Mat Introduce yourself to the fundamentals of Pilates technique (without apparatus/equipment). Focus on alignment, opposition, balance, and functional fluid movement from the core’s foundation -- the powerhouse. Courtesy mats available.
Pilates & Posture All levels welcome. Enhance your mat class with an assortment of accessories to work your core (your abdomen and back) and improve postural fitness.
Power Pilates Take it to the core with a dynamic, challenging, progressive Pilates mat workout focusing on your powerhouse (your core,). Lengthen, strengthen, and transform your body and mind towards your ABSolute potential.
Push It Combines the Pilates principles with toning, cardio, and killer abs.
STRONG by Zumba™ Combines high-intensity interval training with the science of Synced Music Motivation. In every class, music and moves sync in a way that pushes you past your perceived limits, to reach your fitness goals faster. We recommend bringing your own mat to class.
Please bring your own mat to JCC yoga classes (except Chair Yoga). Blocks, straps, blankets, and bolsters will be provided if your class is using them.
Candlelight Stretch This class is extraordinary. Offering all the benefits of yoga: flexibility, strengthening and restoratives for your mind/body. The room is dimly lit by flickering candlelight to light up your soul.
Chair Yoga This is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair. Suitable for older adults or for anyone with limited mobility. Class is held in the Adult Lounge and you don't need to bring a yoga mat, as we use chairs instead of mats in this class. Watch a video of our Chair Yoga class in action!
Flow & Align Yoga Based on postural alignment as we weave poses into a mindful flow. We give importance to the breath and the fluctuating mind by witnessing how it all interconnects. We also dedicate a portion of the time to wind down and rest -- this benefits the body as well as the mind.
Flow & Hold Yoga A style of Hatha yoga, Flow & Hold employs both upbeat, flowing sequences and long-held asanas (poses) to provide a well rounded practice that will help develop strength and resilience while allowing time to drop into a meditative state. The contrasts of movement and static holds, tension and relaxation, and a variety of breathing techniques help develop a deeper awareness of the body and mind.
Gentle Yoga Incorporates asanas (poses) in a slow, meditative, and calm practice. Encouraged for any person with reduced mobility or limitations.
Gentle/Restorative Yoga Yoga postures that move at a gentle pace, combined with breath work, meditation, and restorative poses to quiet the mind and calm the body.
Hatha Yoga The foundation of yoga. Learn asanas (poses) and pranayama (breathing technique). In the Hatha Aligned class, emphasis is on postural alignment. All levels welcome.
Iyengar Yoga Precise alignment of muscles, bones and joints is the main focus. Rather than moving quickly through the postures, you may spend many minutes in one pose and use props to align your body properly.
Mobility Core & Balance Flexibility, balance & stretching, all in one. Stretch your body from head to toe, while strengthening your core and improving your concentration and balance.
Power Hour Yoga These 60-minute flowing sequences are designed to generate heat, build strength, increase flexibility, and inspire your day.
Qigong Qigong is one of the oldest health-promoting exercise practices in the world. It is a system of therapeutic movements, breathing exercises, and directed awareness that develops and circulates internal energy. Qigong increases longevity, vitality, and body-mind unity.
Roll & Release The most overlooked component of injury prevention. Roll out your muscles, treat day to day stiffness , recover and loosen up your body.
Tai Chi Learn and practice a Taiji form to increase strength, flexibility and balance. It's suitable for all levels, and students should be able to feel vitalizing qi flowing through their bodies during the first class. There are many taiji principles and techniques we will explore while having fun tuning up our physical and energetic bodies.
Vigorous Vinyasa This class builds heat in the body through dynamic, playful vinyasa flows incorporating sun salutations and/or flows based on standing and balancing poses before introducing apex poses into the flow. There is a strong focus on using the breath to establish ease and steadiness in the practice.
Vinyasa Flow A continuous flow of movement with a dynamic system of poses (asanas), building flexibility, strength, and the synchronization of breath. Experience in Hatha is recommended.
Yoga Fundamentals All levels welcome. Enjoy the fundamentals of yoga practice in a class that is excellent for beginners, or to bring advanced yogis back to the basis of their practice.
TRX® AND SMALL GROUP TRAINING (fee-based)
TRX® These classes use the TRX Suspension Trainer along with other equipment in the small group class area of Fitness Room B for a full-body strength and cardio workout in less than an hour! There is a fee for these classes. Reservations recommended, classes limited to 8 participants. To reserve a spot and for more information on pricing and specific formats, call 408.357.7419.
Small Group Boot Camp This intense workout mixes calisthenics and body weight exercises with cardio and strength training for a different workout every week.
NEW! Small Group Kickboxing This workout includes high intensity cardio-based exercise, mixed martial arts conditioning techniques, speed, agility and quickness drills using heavy bags, hand pads, and other equipment.
