To reserve a space in a spin class, call the JCC Service Desk at 408.357.7429 within one hour of the class start time, and they'll put your name on the list.
In addition to our regular group fitness classes, which are complimentary for Full Center Members, we also occasionally offer fee-based classes. We offer new classes on a regular basis so check back from time to time, to see what's new.
The JCC offers more than 70 group fitness classes each week. These classes are free for Full Center Members. Social Members and non-members pay a day pass fee of $15 for Social Members and $25 for non-members.

Aqua BootcampTake bootcamp into the water with high intensity drills for a total body aquatic workout.
Aqua Fit Get out of the cardio studio and into the pool for this non-impact, total body workout. Improve cardiovascular stamina, muscular endurance, flexibility, and range of motion.
Aqua Slam Slam into fitness with an exhilarating mix of cardio and strength training.
Aqua Tabata Uses water resistance with several basic aqua moves done for a short period of time at a high intensity and a short rest in between.
CARDIO & FUSION FITNESS
20/20/20 This energizing combo class included 20 minutes of sculpt, 20 minutes of Cardio dance, and 20 minutes of stretching and core work to get you a balanced full body workout!
Cardio Barre Improve your balance, strengthen your core, and create a long, lean physique. This high energy, low impact class combines ballet, kickboxing, Pilates, and yoga and is non-stop fast paced movement. Class is taught in bare feet and different props such as gliders, bosus, balls, and light weights are used each week.
Cardio Sculpt Combine Body Sculpt with cardio intervals for a total body workout!
Intermediate/Advanced Step Use the step platform to keep your mind busy and your heart pumping. This class has intermediate to advanced intensity and choreography.
Kickbox Conditioning A cardiovascular workout using the basic kickboxing techniques to develop endurance, conditioning, and stamina.
Light and Easy Light on the joints and easy to follow, this low-impact aerobics class uses simple choreographed movement patterns that emphasize full range of motion.
On the Ball Cardio, strength and core exercises all using the Stability Ball! Keep it simple with one piece of equipment that will be sure to challenge you.
Spinning ® Indoor cycling program using high-performance fully adjustable, stationary bicycle. The techniques and positions presented are carefully selected to ensure a safe, fun, and effective workout for students of all fitness levels.
Spinning® & Core Combine indoor cycling with core exercises for a great workout! This class is great for those who may not like a full hour of spinning.
Tabata Bootcamp Tabata is a high-intensity training regimen that produces remarkable results. A Tabata workout consists of several basic athletic moves done for a short period of time but performed at a high intensity level, with a short rest in between.
U-JAM Fitness TM Unite world beats with hip-hop and Bollywood moves, for a high energy workout!
ZUMBA® Ditch the workout and stay for the party! Every Zumba® class is a fun event. The mix of Latin, top 40 and Hip Hop music keeps you energized.
ZUMBA®Basics Zumba with less impact on the joints, and simplified movements, but with all the fun of a regular Zumba class! Great for anyone looking to try Zumba for the first time, or at a slower pace.
Body Sculpt Mix it up with dumbbells, balls, body bars and bands for a great total body workout! Work at your own level while you define, condition, and strengthen all major muscle groups.
Boot Camp This intense workout mixes calisthenics & body weight exercises with cardio and strength training for a different workout every week! Our instructor will encourage you through a challenging workout and motivate you to keep coming back for more.
Pilates Mat Introduce yourself to the fundamentals of Pilates technique (without apparatus/equipment). Focus on alignment, opposition, balance and functional fluid movement from the core’s foundation - the powerhouse. Courtesy mats available.
Pilates + Props All levels welcome. Enhance your mat class with the use of props including the magic circle and foam roller accommodating a range of experience and ability.
Power Pilates Take it to the core with a dynamic challenging progressive Pilates mat workout focusing on your powerhouse (core). Lengthen, strengthen, and transform your body and mind towards your ABSolute potential.
Core Yoga An active, powerful yoga that flows through many Sun Salutations into various standing and balancing poses. The practice also includes a challenging series of Pilates based abdominal toners and strengtheners
Gentle Yoga Incorporate asanas in a slow, meditative and calm practice. Encouraged for any person with reduced mobility or limitations.
Hatha Yoga The foundation of Yoga. Learn asanas (poses) and pranayama (breathing technique). All levels welcome. Bring your own mat. Courtesy mats, blocks, straps, blankets and bolsters offered.
Iyengar Yoga Precise alignment of muscles, bones and joints is the main focus. Rather than moving quickly through the postures, you may spend many minutes in one pose and use props to align your body properly.
Mobility Core & Balance Flexibility, balance & stretching, all in one! Stretch your body from head to toe, while strengthening your core and improving your concentration and balance.
Qigong Qigong is one of the oldest health promoting health exercises practices in the world. It is a system of therapeutic movements, breathing exercises and directed awareness that that develops and circulates internal energy. Qigong increases longevity, vitality, and body-mind unity.
Therapeutic Yoga Flow Inspired by Yoga Tune Up®, this class is designed to tone, stretch, and strengthen the body as well as relieve and heal muscle fibers. Utilizing self massage, props, classical and non-traditional asanas you will leave with a new perspective on your body and your practice!
Vigorous Vinyasa This class builds hear in the body through dynamic, playful vinyasa flows incorporating sun salutations and/or flows based on standing and balancing poses before introducing apex poses into the flow. There is a strong focus on utilizing the breath to establish ease and steadiness in the practice.
Vinyasa Flow A continuous flow of movement with a dynamic system of poses (asanas), building flexibility, strength and the synchronization of breath. Experience in Hatha is recommended.
Yoga Fundamentals Intended for all student levels, this class creates a strong and stable foundation on which to build your practice. Each class is devoted to a theme that will help you deepen your practice while challenging your mind and body.
Yoga Fusion Combination of Yoga, Tai Chi and Qi Gong movements in an invigorating and strengthening flow.
Yoga Nidra & Pranayama In this class, you will leave the waking state, go through the dreaming state, yet remain fully awake. Yoga Nidra is often referred to as Yoga Sleep or the state of conscious deep sleep. It's a state in which the body can heal and drop into a parasympathetic state. Pranayama is a series of breathing techniques that train you to regulate and stead the flow of life force within you.
Yin / Restorative Yoga Yin yoga targets the deeper, connective tissues with a focus on the joints. Restorative Yoga uses props to encourage a deeper sense of relaxation. This class offers a combination of poses from both disciplines, taking the emphasis off the large muscles groups and focusing on the fascia, through long-held, supported postures.
Yoga Sculpt Combines principles of many different styles of yoga done in flow with 2 lb hand weights . Yoga sculpt will create heat and build strength, flexibility, and endurance.
Yin Yoga Using foundation poses in Hatha and Hatha Flow, Yin focus on holding postures for deep results targeting and opening the fascia and joints.
