Early Childhood Enrichment Classes
The JCC's Early Childhood Education Department offers enrichment classes for children ages 18 months to 5 years old, as well as Parent and Me classes for infants and toddlers. These classes are open to everyone--you don't have to be an APJCC Preschool family to enroll a child in these classes.

The JCC offers group swim lessons in the spring, summer, and fall, and private and semi-private lessons all year long. Our outdoor pool is heated to 82 degrees year-round. APJCC Dance Academy classes run throughout the school year and are ongoing, so you can start anytime. We offer classes for children 2 years old and up. The APJCC Dance Academy is part of the JCC's Sports & Wellness Department.

Around the World Cooking (ages 3-5)
Put your chef’s hat on, but leave the suitcase. Join Teacher Rebecca Silberstein in cooking the popular foods of other countries. More info: email@example.com or 408.357.7417.
Let’s Play in Spanish (ages 2.5-5)
Kids learn languages most easily when they’re young. Have fun interacting with other kids while creating arts and crafts, enjoying puppet shows, and singing along with the teachers in this Spanish immersion program. Each day we’ll focus on a key topic, such as colors, shapes, emotions, or animals. A minimum of 10 students is required in order to run this class. Let’s Learn Hebrew (ages 3-5)
Children are invited on a journey to speak, sing and play in Hebrew. Using technology as well as hands-on activities and projects, your child will learn to understand and communicate in Hebrew by immersing into Jewish holidays, seasons, the world around them, food, everyday conversations, and much more. Making Music (ages 2-5 years)
Shake, rattle and roll to popular family and children’s music with teacher Karen Enfield. Songs, rhythmic rhymes, movement, and instrument play. Minimum of 6 students required to run class. More info: firstname.lastname@example.org or 408.357.7417.
Messy Art (ages 3-5)

Ready, Set, Explore (ages 3-5)
Get ready to explore different destinations by looking at maps, pictures, and hearing stories. Each week we will be visiting a new destination with teacher Rebecca Silberstein. Science Explorers (ages 3-5)
Future scientists will have fun while learning basic principles of science using common household ingredients and equipment, with teacher Rebecca Silberstein. STEAMing at Preschool (ages 3-5)
Children will be engaged in learning how things work, building or creating new artifacts, and exploring basic scientific and engineering concepts. As good scientists, children will keep a journal where they will draw about their discoveries. In a play-based way, children will do projects that involve STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math). Taught by Vanina Sandel, STEAM Coordinator at Yavneh Day School. Tumbling and Gymnastics (ages 3.5-5)

Yad B’Yad (ages 0-2, with an adult)
Yad B’Yad means “hand in hand” in Hebrew. The littlest members of our community are invited to bring a grown-up with them and learn about the joy and fun of Shabbat. Each class includes songs, stories, an art/sensory activity, and games, culminating with a short Shabbat celebration. Child must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. YogaKids (ages 2.5-5)
Enjoy the many benefits of yoga in a fun and playful way, with instructor Linda P. Adleson. Storytelling, music, creative arts, and earthcare blend seamlessly with yoga movement to educate the whole child. More info:firstname.lastname@example.org or 408.357.7417.

Parents Day Off (for ages 3 years - 5th grade)
Does your child have the day off from school? Bring them to the JCC’s youth lounge, Club J, for a fun-filled day of supervised activities.
Full day (9:00am-3:30pm) and half day (9:00am-12:30pm) options are available, as well as extended care (8:00-9:00am and 3:30-6:00pm).
Cost for a full day is $50 CM/SM, $65 NM. Half day is $40 CM/SM, $50 NM. Extended Care cost is $15 CM/SM per day or $20 NM per day.
Upcoming dates for preschool-age children and grades K-5 are 11/2, 1/18, 3/7. Also, for K-5th grade only we're offering 11/3, 11/4, 3/24 (half day) and 3/25 for K-5th grade only. And for preschool-age only, we're offering 3/29.

Soccer and at the JCC is run by the Liverpool Football Club - Bay Area, a nationally accredited U.S. Club Soccer Academy that offers soccer lessons for ages 3.5-5 years, an instructional recreational league for ages 4-9 years, and competitive team play for U7-U18.
