World Literature as a Midrash
Thursday December 17th, 7:30pm
Guest Speaker Elena Zusmanovich
Cost: $10
This lecture series explores the spiritual and intellectual connections between Tanach and world literature. How and toward what ends have Biblical stories, concepts, and ideas been used in shaping the art of writing? How the works of great writers can help us to understand the Torah? This course reveals the relationship between myth, the traditional narratives and literature.
