Introduction to Judaism
This course provides an overview of the Jewish life cycle, holidays, and other ritual celebrations. During the course of the year, students will also gain an understanding of Jewish belief, history, calendar, and core texts. Each session will include 30 minutes of Hebrew instruction. Additionally, students will be invited to participate in various aspects of Jewish living. This class is co-taught by rabbis from local synagogues and the JCC. Sessions will rotate among local synagogues and the JCC, based on which rabbi is teaching that day.
