South Bay Teen Idol
What is South Bay Teen Idol?
Produced by the JCC, South Bay Teen Idol is an "American Idol" style competition that crowns the best teenage singer in the South Bay. Teenage vocalists in 8th-12th grades are eligible to compete.
Announcing Our 2016 Semi-Finalists
Auditions were held in early January. The semi-finals for 2016 will be Saturday evening, February 13th, and the finals will be Saturday evening, April 2nd. For a list of this year's 20 semi-finalists, click here.
Tickets to the semi-finals are $20 adults, $10 students, children younger than 5 free if they sit on a parent's lap. Bring a canned food item to donate to Second Harvest Food Bank and save 50% off your ticket price.

First prize is $2,500 to the winner and a donation of $500 to the winner's school. The second and third place winners also receive prizes.
